TheKLMmusic is London based multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, musical director and researcher Kyriacos Loizos Michael.
Some of his clients include BoohooMan, BBC, EdgeSport, the Discovery Channel and the wonderful foundation The Cares Family.
He is the founder of 6 original bands (incl. Nova Neon, Box Kid), a published composer (SATV, Cinephonix, Evolution Media), session musician and recording artists (Abbey Road Studios, Greenmount). Nova Neon's 2nd album 'The Citizen', is now available on all streaming platforms.
Kyriacos teaches songwriting and composition at Hertfordshire University, across both undergrad and postgrad programmes.
Having recently completed his PhD, his research work will continue to develop our understanding of immersive music performance practice. His thesis on the taxonomy of immersive characteristics provides the foundations for any composer wishing to develop performance material with immersivity at its core.

Composing music for immersive Performance
The aim of this research is to investigate how specific practices can be developed and applied when composing music for an immersive performance. This study has evaluated how the combination of the performance space, musical style and delivery methods, can produce unique and valuable sonic experiences. It has been accomplished by developing innovative approaches that investigate the impact of immersive music environments on the audience.
